The 1st International Conference on Sustainable Intelligent Manufacturing (http://www.sim.ipleiria.pt/) will be held at Leiria, Portugal, on June 29  to July 2011 at Leiria, Portugal.

The International Conference on Sustainable Intelligent Manufacturing (SIM2011) will be held by the Centre for Rapid and Sustainable Product Development at Leiria, Portugal, from June 29 to July 1, 2011. The venue will take place at an important industrial  and historical city of Portugal, distant around 1 hour from Lisbon.

This Conference aims to provide a major international forum for academics, researchers and industrial partners to exchange ideas in the field of sustainable intelligent manufacturing and related topics. The conference expects to foster networking and collaboration among participants to advance the knowledge and identify major trends in the field.

Papers will be blind peer-reviewed. Accepted and presented papers will be included in an ISBN conference proceedings book.
